Business Roundtable |
It’s lonely at the top! Every organizational leader has experienced this reality. You are faced with a problem that you desperately need to talk about, but you can’t talk with anyone in the organization. Your closest advisors may be people such as your accountant or attorney, but you don’t have confidence that they have the requisite organizational wisdom to guide you. Family and friends are not good options since, generally, they also lack specific wisdom and furthermore they are biased. You need to talk to a person who has wisdom, about organizational matters, who can objectively and confidentially listen and give you sound counsel. Who do you call?
What you need is peer relationships with others engaged in the workplace as you are and have sound wisdom.
Here is a solution for you--the Business Roundtable (BRT) sponsored by Strategies@Work, LLC. The BRT is a venue to build synergistic relationships with wise organizational leaders who can help you and whom you can help.
The BRT is a group of six to twelve organizational leaders who meet monthly to fellowship, pray, and learn together. Participants develop rich relationships with peers who can help address the most vexing problems of business and life.
As trust grows, participants share problems and ideas with each other in a prayerful climate. What a comfort to know there are organizational leaders praying and seeking wisdom for you.
In addition to prayer and the fellowship of peer relationships, each monthly meeting is a learning venue. Biblical organizational best practices are presented and discussed. These practices are based on the Beyond Babel Model presented in the book Beyond Babel written by Gerald Chester, Managing Member of Strategies@Work, LLC. This Model will challenge both your understanding of organizational theory and best practices. As you embrace biblical best practices of the Beyond Babel Model, you will be equipped to lead your organization more fully aligned with the will and ways of God.
And a bonus to all this is access to seasoned consultants—men and women trained in the biblical best practices presented in the Beyond Babel Model. Each BRT meeting is led by a trained consultant. And beyond the monthly group BRT meeting, the consultant is available to meet monthly with each participant for personal fellowship, prayer, counsel, and support.
Consider the BRT. It is working for many organizational leaders. It can work for you!
