Kingdom Management 3: Leadership
BASED ON TIMELESS UNIVERSAL PRINCIPLES
Arguably, Peter Drucker is the father of management theory. Prior to the 1950s, little thought was given to the science of leadership. Dr. Drucker's work changed the perception of management and opened the door to a profound new level of understanding.
Notwithstanding Dr. Drucker’s contribution, his theory of leadership was largely empirically based. Could there be a theory of leadership based on a biblical worldview? |
If you are seeking to live your life based on a biblical worldview, this question should be intriguing.
Consider where you learned what you know about leadership.
Have you ever been taught leadership using the Bible as the textbook?
If you are like most people, you learned leadership from experience, common sense, books, and perhaps from a mentor.
But most of what you know about leadership has probably come from non-biblical sources or people who only thought marginally from a biblical worldview.
In seems that few have studied the Bible intentionally seeking to understand God's principles of leadership. The purpose of this teaching is to consider leadership from a biblical worldview.
The thesis of this teaching is that anyone desiring enduring success in God's universe must know how to lead according to His will and ways.
For some thoughts on leadership based on the Bible, engage in this teaching.
Below is an excerpt from the introduction of this training.

This teaching is based on the Beyond Babel Model.
The Beyond Babel Model is a model for building your personal life and organizations based on the timeless universal principles (TUP) found in the Bible. This model was introduced in the book Beyond Babel written by Dr. Gerald Chester, founder of Strategies@Work, LLC. Using the Beyond Babel Model, this teaching presents Christian (biblically based) best practices for personal self-governance and group governance (e.g., family, church, workplace, and society). |
If you believe that the God revealed in the Bible created the universe, then it follows that God made all the rules for the universe. Therefore, gaining a biblical worldview of leadership is not only important but is essential to enjoying enduring success.
In part 3 of the Kingdom Management series, you will learn a biblical worldview of leadership. What you think you know about leadership will be challenged as you consider biblical truth applied to leading people and organizations.
This teaching will challenge you to better understand the timeless universal principles (TUP) and therefore how to engage in building and managing multigenerational organizations from a biblical worldview.
This is the third teaching in the Kingdom Management series. Parts 1 and 2 are not prerequisites; however, you are encouraged to view KM1 and KM2 before taking KM3.
